Hello everybody! I am pleased to inform you that I am hosting a contest for you to win tickets to go see alternative/rock group Bemused. The concert is at Moe’s Original BBQ in Denver, Colorado, so if you live near there you can go check them out for FREE! If you don’t live near there, I’m sorry, but I guess you could A) pay for a flight and then get in for free, or B) give them to someone you know that lives in Denver. SO, here is the deal:
If you can be one of the first 5 people answer the following trivia question, you will win a pair of tickets for the show.
First off, THANK YOU Will Ferrel and John C. Reilly! That has been one of the funniest movies in the past few years, and all the others y’all make are not far behind. BUT, this isn’t a movie blog. SO, I am here to give my list of the top 10 best vocalists in the post-hardcore/hardcore/screamo genre. Many of these artists have been made popular for their voices, and some may be just because their band rocks, I don’t know. All I know is, these guys can actually sing! Some of these guys are not with some of the bands listed as them being from. I am simply pointing out where the name/voice may be familiar from. ENJOY!
To all of you fans of Never Shout Never, it’s now time to get excited. For his new album, Christofer Drew is releasing a “Limited Edition Time Travel Lithograph + CD Bundle“. So now, not only can you be excited for the new album entitled, “Time Travel”, but you can also be pumped for some extra goodies.
About a month ago I made a post showing y’all a few of my top songs to listen to in the Summer. Well here I am again, a month later, bringing y’all another post with some songs that I have started to like more and more over the summer. Not all of these songs are new, and some aren’t even remotely close to being new, but they are songs that I have enjoyed listening to this Summer. ENJOY!
Thank you MTV! Although you are no longer the MTV of old, that being Music Television, you sure do it right when it comes to things for music on the internet! Here is one of the best acoustic live shows I have ever seen (live or on the web). Jared Leto’s voice sounds better than ever, and with the help of the Vitamin String Quartet, and even the crowd, these performances are absolutely beautiful. With the addition of the string instruments as the main background music, these songs are given extra support when it comes to hitting you in an emotional sense. This unique acoustic set features their hit songs such as, “Kings and Queens”, “Closer To The Edge”, and even a couple of cover songs including, “Where The Streets Have No Name”, by U2. Since WordPress doesn’t support the embed codes given by MTV, I regret to say that I cannot post the videos here on H&H for y’all, but I will provide y’all with a link [below].
It’s been nice being on break for the Summer and having nothing to worry about. No school, no homework, no exams, just time to relax. Here are my top 20 songs of this summer. These are songs that I listen to while driving, going out on the lake, or just hanging by the pool with some friends. ENJOY!
