Dexter’s Kin Wants You To “Spill Out The Lies”!

Buy on iTunes:

I had never heard of this band until I got this video sent to me via YouTube from one of the band members, and I am glad they did. This song is quite catchy, as is all of their other songs I’ve heard. The video may be understood as a re-creation of a hard night of partying for someone with inner problems. Sounds dark, but don’t worry it’s not as depressing as it sounds. No one is going to jump off a cliff, shoot themselves, take sleeping pills, etc. In the video it just chronologically follows the lead singer from the beginning of the night all the way to the end. In the beginning everything seems happy, but it becomes apparent that through all of the fun, he still wants something more. It’s truly a great video, and an amazing song. H&H Need To Know Artist: Epyllion, Does Coheed!

Along with a number of amazing cover songs, Epyllion has added “Wake Up” by Coheed & Cambria to their arsenal. It’s like they were spying on me in order to get me to post this, because “Wake Up” is one of my all time favorite songs. Therefore, I have to completely critical of any cover made by it. Nothing can compare to the original, but this is definitely an amazing cover, and I’m glad they made it the way they did. This cover is unique in the sense that is sounds like Epyllion, but it doesn’t stray too far from Coheed & Cambria. Thus, giving this version its own sound without getting too crazy weird like you see when some people cover songs. Click read more to see the video. ENJOY!

Check This Out!

Buy on iTunes:

Their name is Galt Aureus, and they is absolutely amazing! This is a case of very talented musicians not getting the credit they deserve. I’ve watched a couple of their videos on YouTube, but one in particular really strikes a chord with me. The video below is of that song, “Coming Down”. In addition to the lyrics and instrument work being really good, the guys voice is absolutely astounding. It’s hard to describe his voice in comparison to someone else, but my best attempt is like a mixture of Incubus and Daughtry. He is really really good, and I recommend him to everyone!

Prepare Your Mind, It’s About To Be Blown! – “H&H: Video To Watch For”

Like the title states, this song is going to blow your mind! It’s 3:00 A.M. and I can’t sleep, so what do I do? I look for music, that’s what. I have never been more confused after finding this band! By confused I mean, ‘holy-crap-this-is-so-awesome-but-what-kind-of-person-would-think-of-this’ kind of confusion. Just think about this: the best way to describe this band is if you had a band like Panic At The Disco or Fall Out Boy, and you forced them to make a baby with Darude or the Benassi Bros. Yes, I am saying this is what the end product would be a scene – techno love spawn. Weird right? BUT, so good! This band is called, And Then There Were None, and I recommend you give them a listen. My favorite song by them is, “The Hospital“, but the video below is for their song, “Thank The Watchmaker” which is also a very good song. Check them out, it will be worth your time! ENJOY!
